“What Parents Should Know”
This is a Flipbook designed to help parents to have a better understanding of how to create a developmentally appropriate learning environments for their children. The “Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Standards (2008): “What Parents Should Know” describe skills that four-year-old children should know and be able to do by the end of their VPK experience.
The Flipbook introduces the eight “domains” or areas of development that are included in the VPK Education Standards and also each of them has several examples of play activities.
