Making Paper Plate Pigs
This is an activity that you can use as an art and craft extension when you are talking about “Farm Animals” or reading the story “The Three Little Pigs”.
Materials and Procedures:
- Two paper plates ( Uno big, for the main body and one small for the head)
- Pink color paint
- Big brush
- Glue
- Body parts (two ears, tail, two short legs, and nose). You can draw these parts very simple for the kids, and make copies for them. Also you can ask the students to draw them in a separately paper and cut them out.
- Black permanent market for details (mouth, ayes, etc.)
- Now you put the pieces together. See pictures bellow for more details.
